How Can I Help the Environment?
In
the past few years, global warming and climate change have become
contentious buzz words almost certain to set off an argument at the
dinner table.
Are global weather patterns changing as the result of our wasteful and polluting behaviors?
Or do we have eons of resources from which to draw?
If you're like us, you don't want to take the chance either way,
and look for myriad small ways to positively effect the environment.
Climate Counts is a nonprofit organization funded by Stonyfield
Farm, and launched in collaboration with Clean Air-Cool Planet. Formed
around the notion that all of us share the responsibility for helping
to alleviate undue stress on the planet, they've devised a scorecard
for numerous global companies, to help consumers see where their money
is going (or not going, as the case may be).
See how each company is handling the climate change issue, and
click on a button to let the CEO of said company know what you think.
Because voting with your own personal green may be the most powerful weapon in your arsenal.
